Retail ready packaging (RRP)
Today’s retail environment for fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) is changing fast.
It may not be that obvious to the shopper, but fundamental changes in the way goods are packed, distributed and displayed are increasing efficiency and reducing costs at every stage of the supply chain. Whilst there is a constant pressure to reduce the time and cost of supply and replenishment, there are also industry demands from brand managers for RRP that will enhance their products when on display and reinforce the brand message.
At Encase we are working closely alongside our customers to develop further a new generation of packaging and display systems such as ‘one-touch’ end-of-aisle dispensers which improve store appearance, optimise use of space, reduce clutter, and ultimately increase profits.
Further back down the supply chain, our innovative- designed retail-ready corrugated packaging makes product recognition much easier in the warehouse.
We can demonstrate how we’ll help develop your store strategy at our supermarket display. Major areas of concern are ease and speed of shelf filling, optimum shelf-fit, appearance and brand promotion, knock-down and recycling.
Shelf ready packaging (SRP)
Apart from the obvious benefits of reduced shelf filing time, shelf ready corrugated packaging represents a major opportunity for increased profits for retailers in space-hungry convenience stores where managers need to optimise case counts to create space for new sales ranges.
Encase works with clients to create ideal shelf ready packaging solutions that are easy to handle, fit the available space perfectly and improve availability.
For replenishment reasons we often design boxes that fit exactly two deep on the shelf. Corrugated shelf ready packaging is quick, safe and easy to remove from the store for recycling once it's done its job.
High volume, cost-effective FMCG
Encase is investing in building long-term relationships with customers to perfect supply chain operations where there is a demand for low-cost, high-volume corrugated packaging. We have electronic interface facilities with some of our larger customers to monitor demand - ensuring supplies get to where and when they’re need on time so production is not affected.
Food industry accreditation
Encase now holds BRC/IOP Global Standard – Food Packaging and Other Packaging Materials (Issue 2 )at all three of its UK sites, so customers can be confident that all our corrugated packaging products are hygienic and safe.
