Our experienced production teams employ well-invested modern corrugators to manufacture a comprehensive range of corrugated board for a variety of customers throughout the UK.
We run 24/7, producing a high quality product - reliably, accurately and speedily. At full capacity we can produce more than 150 million metres of board a year, so customers can be reassured Encase have the capacity to deliver.
Various types of corrugated sheet
As well as B, C, and E flutes, we produce more specialist boards - BC EB EC and BB flute combination boards in many grades and weights.
Customers can specify scoring requirements, (including fanfold) and barrier or performance liner combinations to meet their particular requirements.
New substrates
We are delighted to be launching our brand new range of high-performing EcoWall substrates in 2007, all of which offer customers substantial cost savings, technical superiority and environmental advantages over more conventional grades:-
EcoWall BM flute – Lighter in weight and stronger in performance. This heavy duty board is 60% thinner than its competitor triple wall saving space and taking trucks off the road.
EcoWall EC flute – uses less paper but has extra performance on flat crush, thinner than BC allowing 20% saving on storage and distribution costs. This perfect print surface maximises your graphic requirements.
EcoWall BB flute – a lower cost alternative to BC, less paper and energy is used in the production of this high-quality high-performing double wall board.
EcoWall M flute- Is this the death of double wall? High performance slim-line profile saving 50% of space compared to double wall. RippaTape and SesameTape options
Encase is experienced in producing sheet boarding that incorporates RippaTape or Sesame/Tear Tapes. Frequently found on products such as detergent boxes and pet food boxes.
These additions to the sheet board extend container life, reduce corner and handhold tearing, provide better product containment, and offer improved stacking performance.
It can also be used to provide scoreline reinforcement that extends the useful life of a box, allowing it to be reused.
