Fanfold
Corrugated boards manufactured by Encase in fanfold form are the ultimate ‘chameleon’ of the packaging world – so flexible they can be used for a huge variety of products and sizes - ideal for despatch departments wrestling with large and irregular shaped products.
At the same time as we manufacture a continuous length of board, we concertina-fold (or Z-fold) it and palletise it to individual customer specification.
It’s easier to handle than long or large unfolded sheets and allows customers to simplify the range of boxes they need to keep in stock to package a variety of produce.
We can score the board to a specific box style if required. It can be used as raw material with carton-making machinery.
With the recent addition of a second, new 2.5 metre wide fanfold corrugator at Banbury the crease width can now be varied between 1m and 2.5 metres. Only Encase has fanfold at two UK sites which are supported by specialists and a nationwide customer support team. The company-wide computer database supports both the Leeds and Banbury operations which uniquely gives customers the security of contingency and two-site back up as well as the Encase capacity to run the same job in paralletl on two sites.

Superior EcoWall substrates (EC Flute, BB Flute)
In addition to the standard comprehensive range of flute combinations we offer the speciality requirements of EC and BB flute. These specialist flute combinations provide superior strength and cushioning properties together with the ability to achieve high print resolution.

At the same time each board’s improved performance reduces its impact on the environment.
EcoWall BM flute – Lighter in weight and stronger in performance. This heavy duty board is 60% thinner than its competitor triple wall saving space and taking trucks off the road.
EcoWall EC flute – uses less paper but has extra performance on flat crush, thinner than BC allowing 20% saving on storage and distribution costs. This perfect print surface maximises your graphic requirements.
EcoWall BB flute – a lower cost alternative to BC, less paper and energy is used in the production of this high-quality high-performing double wall board.
EcoWall M flute- Is this the death of double wall? High performance slim-line profile saving 50% of space compared to double wall.
